Part II of the Video Series on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Today, I talk about some of the various causes of carpal tunnel syndrome, which include trauma and metabolic disorders (ie diabetes, especially type II diabetes). Obesity also is another important consideration as upwards of 80% of type II diabetics are obese, and thus, treating obesity and achieving metabolic improvement through diet and lifestyle can be very effective in alleviating the symptoms of both diabetes and carpal tunnel sundrome. I hope you are enjoying this video blog series, and find them informative.

Don’t forget that I always welcome and appreciate your comments and questions, as it not only is fun to answer your questions, but it is also a learning experience, because I get to see what people are thinking about carpal tunnel syndrome, and where I need to focus my energy to help inform and educate.

In any case, enjoy!

    • Thank you for taking the time to do these videos and posts on carpal tunnel. I do have a couple questions – is there an easy way to tell the difference between carpal tunnel and diabetic neuropathy? Also, how fast can the symptoms develop in carpal tunnel?
